Derek, thank you for the video link. That is a great video.
Initially, I thought my door window seals were constructed a bit differently, but on closer examination tonight, I see that it is not. Apparently some work was done by a previous owner that is a bit different. Rather than those large U-shaped strips, my car has a channel along the top and rear that the window slides up into. But I think the remnants of one of those U-shaped pieces along the outside of the window where it slides down into the door.
It also looks like a much bigger job than I wanted to tackle just now.
