Yep I agree. But, its highly unethical as the issues rest far below the surface from deliberate bad engine designs knowing sh!t will break and the manufacturer will happily stick 2 fingers up at the customers. Trouble the cost cutting is so bad yet the prices have risen so much more and the technology doesn't cost all that much either. This really boils my blood
Look at Ford's gearbox law suit. Look at the new Focus RS blowing its engine in no time...My wealthy uncle has a new Range Rover Vogue for the wife, its had more visits back to the workshop than to the shops! I love old Mercedes AMG's for example and the exhausts were done well, now its a just a round normal steel pipe cut off hidden behind some metal stick on shape (almost every new car has this).
People just seem blinded by new cars being the most reliable and greatest things ever... when they are generally anything but.
