I think I may have identified the problem with the help of everyone on here. On Thursday the problem wasn't there as I had been just using light throttle (downhill in the main to where I was going) coming back heavier throttle kanagaroo juice again. Cleared after some lightish throttle. Tops off the float chamber and a bit of muck in the back one so tried cleaning it out in situ, seemed successful, but, problem now there all the time. I think some dirt is blocking the outlet to the jet so rather than just take them off and clean it out I have ordered new jets and needles from Burlen and will strip both down completely and give them a good clean out and then with the new jets and needles I am hopeful the problem will be cured.
