Garage round the corner from me in Bristol has a tidy looking late 940 up for £4k. No idea if anyone is paying that sort of money for these cars - there was one at a similar asking price feature on Pistonheads recently.

Nice 740! I also have a 1989 G reg 740 TIC estate in grey (just 85k miles), but mine is the very last of the slab fronted models. Have you had any joy selling? I'd be interested to know what you got for it, as like you mentioned, it's hard to value given how none seem to come up for sale!
