Before I got my XC90 the other week, I spotted in the documentation the ability to upgrade maps etc using the USB port. The requirement was that to accommodate the largest map settings you would need a 64GB USB memory stick. OK, no problem, I thought. It reads sticks of that size.

However, having loaded a 64GB memory stick with about 55GB of music (yes, I do have a lot of .mp3 files) and tried to play from it, I now find that the "Library" display for the USB media won't list all the tracks, albums, artists etc. It gets so far down the alphabet and then just reaches a dead-end around 'S' for artists. It's as if there were some other limit where the vehicle just says "I can only handle XX GB or YYYY tracks ...". Yet nowhere in any of my thoroughly-searched Volvo literature can I see any limit specified.

Any ideas or experience about this?
