I've changed a few xc90 d5 black turbo pipes when they crack and I wondered if this was similar? When speaking to Strathmore Volvo they commented on replacing the orange seals ?
The twin turbo system is not prone to leaks on the hard pipes , Only the rubber hoses on the intercooler can split .. , sometimes in places you can't see until the rubber pipes are removed . ..

The old xc90 pipes are different , the hard plastic one under the engine from turbo to intercooler can come off the turbo mainly due to the pipe's plastic retaining brackets being broken , this can cause the red silicon seal on the turbo end to break .
