Reasonable offers above scrap value now being considered -- I recently turned down £250 with the wheels, but my patience for driving a hard bargain is limited
I'd be happy to put it through MOT as a prior agreement for the sale, as the car is mechanically sound.
Mileage still 306k.
It'll go on eBay eventually with a full MOT and some cheapo wheels fitted, if I don't get offered a fair price for the whole car/wheels.
There's a few bubbles of rust on the roof that I've found this week, so I'm lowering my expectations for sale -- it's still a solid, mega-reliable workhorse that someone can run into the ground, but I'm being realistic: it owes me nothing, I'm not using it, I don't need it, and it's probably got 2 years before the rust starts to become problematic, so it's time to let it go.
