I've got a 1999 S80, 2.4 petrol auto.
I get 20 mpg round town.
I do a long run once a week, driving from Nottingham to London. 150 miles each way. I get 42.5 mpg on that run, but I tend to drive with the cruise on, minimal brake/accelerator inputs at around 55 mph.
