For ANY TF80 gearbox JWS3309 and AW-1 spec fluid can be used and will do the job perfectly well with no impact on longevity etc.

The difference is AW-1 was a later developed fluid with slightly lower viscosity and was used for MPG/emissions reason on later cars.

It’s a far greater benefit that the fluid is changed frequently than a 2013 car gets AW-1 or a 2009 car gets 3309.
