well for one there,s just under half a tank of fuel in the tank and on taking of the pump i used a two wire tester on a pp3 battery under the car and there was no sign of life so i took the pump of to do a propper test with a bigger battery and a tester with clips . no life at all.so i replaced for the second time.just a quick question .on turning the key to start if there is no fuel going thro the fuel pump will it burn out due to no fuel getting in the pump.also i found the two wires were the wrong way around on the coil while checking the connections tonight.so i changed them back over one is red there uther wire is blue i think the blue was on the possitive.ive tried to start after changing the wires but still not starting. checked for a spark on taking the lead of under the distributor from the coil and putting it on the rocker cover and i have a spark so thats good news
