Quality was in abundance 20 years ago that's why , volvo wheels were about £350 each then .. they still are but made in Poland so relatively a lot cheaper ... todays wheels corrode even when scratched cost cutting is rife of course . It is not just alloy but iron too , bare metal corrodes at a horrifying rate now ( Brake discs for example ) , unless the acid rain Is taking it's toll !
