Update, mechanic friend looked at the car and checked handbrake pads shoes etc all fine. He has narrowed it down to a prob with the rear diff. But he says he is not willing to undertake the job of taking it all apart as he’s not much experience of this type. As he says there is solenoid and pump etc within the diff. Anyone else any experience of this?
