If you have the analog dash then it will consist of a small LCD display inside a single large circular analogue speedo, flanked on the left and right by some smaller vertical gauges.

It looks like the one shown on this car.

If you have the digital dash, then it will consist of a large and configurable single circular display flanked on the left and right by some smaller vertical gauges.

If you have the latter then to change themes, turn on the ignition and wait for the display to come on and settle down. Then press the button on the end of the LH stalk.

The central display will then say "Themes".

Press the button on the end of the LH stalk again and you'll be shown a menu offering choices of Elegance, Eco and Sport.

Use the wheel on that same stalk to scroll to the option that you prefer, and press the button on the end of the stalk again to select it.

Job done!

I find the Eco theme slightly annoying, so I avoid using it.

Occasionally, I have mine set to Sport, but my V70 isn't a sports car, even if it does have steering wheel paddles for manual gear selection.

(TBH, I rarely use the paddles or the Geartronic feature via the main gear selector lever. I bought automatic transmission for a reason.)

Mainly, I have it set to Elegance because it's both elegant and restful.
