My friend suggests I may need to clean my lambda sensor but I know that's a tricky job so I thought I'd get someone else's input in case I just need a more sophisticated tool to clear an error or maybe have to recompress my engine.

All input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Just unplug the Lambda sensor and see if it runs better!
It will obviously give a EML code and put the EML light on, but if you have a code reader this will usually delete the code and turn off the EML once you know if lambda is at fault.
