Shame and no, it definitely wouldn't! It's all done with the lenses and the bulb socket which is angled slightly - the bulb will sit perfectly level in terms of comparison to the rest of the car but rotationally in the headlamp reflector, it's usually a few degrees to the right for UK models and a few to the left for LHD models.

Also it's not so much a case of "angling" the beam to the left, more a case of diverting light from the right - all done with the reflector, bulb position and lens.
