Happy new year all,

Following a half-hearted effort to renew my PCV breather system about 3 months ago on my '96 850 CD 7 seater estate , I now require the services of a 'trustworthy' mobile mechanic to finish off what I've started. Lack of time (new job) and total frustration with the last bolt on my inlet manifold have driven me to concede defeat (just grown back all the skin on my knuckles)!!.

I have all the parts to complete, minus a long pipe that snapped in half (the one that pokes out between the manifold and the block) which I'll get from Volvo asap.

As previously mentioned it's been stood for about 3 months. I've been using a Focus in the meantime (Focus + Wife, four kids and two dogs = NO)!! Although it has done just short of 240K, it still drives like it would have done 150k ago so I reckon it's worth doing - along with the ignition thingy that stops the abs light coming on when it shouldn't do (no more wiggling) and the replacement of the offside front disc (previous owner rounded the bolt off proving removal impossible - for me anyway)!!

So... Back to the initial question, does anybody know of a decent 'trustworthy' mobile mechanic to sort my motor out within the Birmingham area?
