nope that I am aware of, never heard of P1 with this feature (just ABL xenons) so doubt it, but feel free to correct me if you find out (heck, would probably go for it myself
).
but I ts most likely "pay up so the car can 'see' the installed hardware" exactly as cheshired5's analogy.
Update for car is always welcome, if there is any - you probably should go for it (unless your car is mapped then I think it will overwrite the map...?)
