V50 1.6d Drive Stop Start issues
Mines a Silver one. This is the best colour. I chose it above all...and I aint no rep either!!! ;o)
On a serious note, I know nothing about these. I bought this V50 1.6d Drive start stop (81000) only 3 days ago....What a fabulous car it is as well. There is just one thing that is now giving me a headache. The Stop Start function just seems to please itself whether it kicks in or not! Sometimes I dip the clutch, knock it out of gear and put the handbreak on, and it does what it should do. Then as was yesterday for most of the day....Nothing at all happens! In the evening it started working again. Please can anyone enlighten me more about this function? All the pro's and cons info would be fabulous to have in my knowledge basket! Joking, but maybe I need some comp updating or something. The reason I suspect that is that the last 3 services have been done by Halfords, and I'm wondering if they have the facillities to upload the latest software into the cars computer. Anything at all relating to my delemma would be most appreciated.. Thank you Don.
