Better for your health too, take one (SUV) for a walk three times a day, on the end of lead, and you'll be fit as a lop in no time.

I made the switch to petrol 6 months ago, still got my S60 diesel for the worst the winter can throw at me otherwise I'm in a 21mpg environment friendly planet saver. EU 6 direct injection, no exhaust particle filter all those delicious PMs flowing out unrestricted.
CO2? never heard of it...and the cherry on the cake road fund licence is cheaper than for my S60 diesel.
Madness ! but if that's where the market is who am I to argue ?

The South Korean's are not so happy about electric cars either https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...siness+News%29

Toyota also reckon the internal combustion engine will be around until the middle of the century regardless what targets European governments are setting: https://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/...nd-2050-116103

I think Toyota might know a thing or two about hybrids having been in the game for a quarter of a century...
