Thanks. Reading the codes is the main thing. I've tried with a generic Obdii reader and there are no MILs returned and just a few extended diagnostic codes,however clearing them doesn't remove the warning message so presume there is some Volvo specific data in there that needs to be read/cleared too.
If someone has the software to switch off the DRLs too, that would just be a bonus!
