Hi all,
I’m on the hunt for a 740 saloon, ideally with the 2.3 lump and pre-facelift with the chrome trim etc.

I’m open to any spec but a GLE/GLT would be nice. I’d entertain a Turbo but I know these are rare and a decent one will probably be out of my financial reach.

Manual preferred but will consider an auto (2.3 only) with a strong box.

I’m not after a project car or basket case as I don’t have workshop facilities, I’m looking for an MOT’d car that is sound and a viable daily driver, which I can restore as time and money allows.

I love these cars and it will be cosseted like a pampered pooch and maintained to the Nth degree by myself and my fellow Volvo enthusiast stepson!
