It seems I've been lucky enough to acquire a swirlflap problem. Rather than the traditional problem where the swirlflap arm is off, in mine the actual arm from the swirlflap actuator / motor is off. And gone.
I've checked the engine bay and removed the under engine tray, but there's no sign of it. The arm that can still be seen hanging loose is also broken on both ends so, whilst not essential, I'd be happy to get a new one of these too.
If you've got the arm that connects onto the swirl flap actuator (maybe from a siezed actuator or something), or even a cheap complete actuator, please drop me a message with details and a price. I'm in the north east and happy to collect from Newcastle / Northumberland area, but will otherwise need it posted to NE24.
