I don't know if the XC60 and S60 share the same fuse box, but on my S60 (2012) I used a fuse in Box B, and it was an empty fuse slot at the top of the the penultimate row (looking left to right). You can test which fuses are live with ignition (rather than live all the time) with a multimeter if you have one. Beware though that if the fuse slot is empty, you need to work out which of the terminals is live and which is the return - trial and error is fine! But don't assume it is not a live slot until you've tried both terminals - another way is to plug the piggyback in and test the output of the piggyback lead vs an earth point (anywhere on bodywork/chassis will normally do). I was going to write up a quick guide on how I did it (and wired it in) if people think that might be useful..?
