I'm sure my 240 had 2 rear fog lights. Its due it's MOT end of October and I'll see what the MOT man says.

MOT suggests only the offside (or single centre) fog light is mandatory

If it was foggy and you could only see the rear lamps of the car in front of you, not the rear of the car, and you thought it was brake lights, you haul on the brakes and the truck behind you ploughs through your rear window.

The MOT doesn't say anything against having two, so each to their own. I prefer to keep the nearside one as a spare bulb holder!
