I have no problem with my 03 R, had an 03 T5 before, depends what your after my opinion is the R is so much more of a car, mine is tuned, lowered, etc still no problems at all, love it.
As an aside, all cars will need suspension, hubs, etc replacing at some point, the R may seem like stuff breaks more - it's a heaveyer car so stuff may well do, all cars break! enjoy what you have, with only 201 in the country i'm proud i have a rare car.
