I changed from a E220d to a V90 CC D4 last year, which was 12 months old.
The performance is slightly down but over the last 14k, I have averaged 44mpg.
Mine has the B&W audio which is excellent, 4C suspension , and a selection of options such as Keyless, laminated windows, active lights, head up display. Have never regretted the change and it is a lot more comfortable in my option. On call is great to pre warm the car on cold days
Due a service in around 3k and await the software updates
The Active lights on the E Class are more responsive, and the fuel economy around 50mpg. But the Volvo is 4WD and more heavy.
