They have been doing fine for the last 6 years since launch i have not known of any failures . It would be interesting to know WHY they have done this ... Maybe just to ensure the problems they had with the D5 aux belt / tensioner from 2007 to 2012 never happen again ! or maybe the hard used police cars have had problems , their interval is down to 50000 miles ! Probably a change of more than once a year .. They won't have done it to generate more work for the workshops , they are more than flat out coping with the huge sales growth of recent years !
