I've been running my T5 cabriolet on Koni Active suspension for a few months, they are excellent and worth the money. They are still a stiff setup but ride bumps and potholes really well and have reduced scuttle shake. I have 17" rims but I think going down to 16" or 15" would improve the ride comfort.
