This. Time to google up online on Dealers not honoring the extended warranty because "this item was not covered by this warranty". They can say whatever they want and when time comes to pay for the repair, good luck. Just talking about this specific offer, it is a scam right out of the box with the words they use.

I would much rather buy an ext. warranty from the main dealer IF it is clearly specified which items are covered in detailed and very concise words. With this in mind, I would definitely recommend an extended warranty on a car such as the new XC90. By the past, Volvo has shown at repeated times they could not care less about major design flaws that surface just after their very short warranty expires, causing owners to pay literally thousands out of their pocket for items that should have never been an issue. Volvo is the worst company when it comes to take responsibility and they do make costly mistakes in their designs.
