Default is it worth stripping to reuse

just seen a v70 auto 7 seater today as a mot failure which i dont think worth repairing but was thinking would it be worth stripping to get the lpg setup as there seem to be more out the without lpg and petrol just keeps going up i belive there around 1200 to have it fitted can the experts on hear advise type off kit and if it can be done the guy has no paper work on the type off lpg kit and wants just about scrap valve. will it fit any v70 and and could it be suitable for an 850. my current 850 clutch is hagging on by a thread so could some my 850 patch it up mean time or has any any idea aprox cost to fix looks like alot off bulbs
