Yep, not yet seeing much improvement according to the fuel computer :-) Will try and check when I have a long motorway run coming up.

It certainly does - occasionally in stop-start traffic I get mildly annoyed with the clutch but it is fun slotting home a gear when pressing on!

Removing the box enough to do the RMS wasn't the hardest part by any means. I think the only specialist tool would be the engine support beam - possibly some fancy sockets for whatever your flywheel bolts (and the new ones) are.
If you try this, just make sure you take your time. Having someone else to help lifting will probably be necessary but it also helps to have someone to bounce ideas off. Try to ensure the job doesn't have to be done in a hurry as I think the pressure helps lead to mistakes :-)
