Indeed , i bought an identical ruby red manual with 54000 miles 3 years ago it is the best 300 i have ever driven and i've driven 1000's of all types . It does 40 - 45 mpg depending on conditions after i fitted a 1.7 5 speed transaxle ...
If yours is CVT it is unlikely to be working properly , very very few people know how these work now and you have to know in able to repair them . Send me a PM if you have troubles .
