I have copied this thread, re-named it slightly, added the link to the original thread into it, locked it and stickied it.
That means it'll stay a precise and uncluttered set of instructions and be permanently on the front page as a very handy source of reference for others.
It also means that his thread can stay for feedback and discussion purposes and not detract from the original set of instructions.
