Car park tyre skipping can be bushes definitely. Hardened or even new PU bushes can do it when cold because they are not compliant enough. My suspension is very overhauled and does it.
My top mounts where so shot they hit the bonnet, so its very possible for them to become detached.
The 300 series bearing seat cracks out and the top moves around, leading to different steering wheel positions, don't think this happens on the 900.
Steering wheel can give out a crack, considered 'normal' and acceptable.
Inner bushes and spaceship outers very likely to need replaced, especially if not tightened on the ground. Radius arm rear bushes seem to last indefinately.
