The best bit is coasting downhill when you get to see instantaneous 99.9mpg! If only!......The worst is under heavy/full available acceleration in the T5 when it reads 6.9mpg

A friend who was a traffic police officer tells me that at a steady 135mph the police V70's readouts were of the order of 8mpg - not that he took much notice of anything other than the road and other traffic at that sort of speed.
