Hi,
Not long purchased a 2009 V50 R Design.
As much as I love the car, I’ve always been a bit wary of these engines.
It’s only got 73k on it, but I know these are the Peugeot lumps and heard a few horror stories about them.
Is there anything common I should look out for on these?
I’ve already had the flywheel let go on me and had that and the clutch replaced!
Given it a good look over and surprisingly not much of any oil leak yet. Apart from a tiny one at the mainside gasket.
I’ve always owned petrol so struggling to get used to noises and knockings of a diesel engine’
