I have been lucky finding a mechanic who seems to know his stuff and he was happy with £160 which is in my opinion a bargain but I will update when I get my car back and all is well. Another place wanted £250+£150 for gearbox so I would think from £250 upwards, its a big job I believe 9hrs for a skilled mechanic. Let me know how you go on and can you post pics of all the codes on your gearbox including the stickers thanks
