Ok, so bit of an update.
The DTC reader didn't come, so I took it to a friend (who has a garage) and he read the codes using a Snap On diagnostic reader.

Got the following codes:

2A30 - Particle Trap Blocked
2A40 - Particle Trap overloaded
A610 - Additive dosage module - faulty signal

So it looks like a DPF regen may be in order. I'm going to take it out on the motorway later and try to get it to regen.

Am I right in thinking that 10-15 min cruise at over 2,500 rpm ought to trigger a regen?

My mate also deleted the fault code for me and it hasn't come back on so far.
