I depinned it from my S40's rear light cluster, this is in preparation for wiring a second (symmetric) foglight to the other side of the car, I'm trying to do it properly by using the correct connector rather than just jamming it in to make a connection with the wire.

The closest thing I can find is MOLEX connectors but they seem to be much smaller (at least the ones I could see on eBay).

Cheers

The correct term is "Wiring Terminal" they are not all standard in the motor industry , Each manufacturer seems to have their own .

With Volvo there are multiple choices on each type regarding material and wiring size and plating type , tin , gold , zinc so you can have say 10 different part numbers for every identical looking Terminal and there may be 20 + different terminals used on the car. to make it worse they change them all again with every new model range where they become smaller and more plentiful around the car!
They are all listed in Vida so it is up to the "Trained" parts person to choose the one you ask for .. they also come with 6 inches of cable ready crimped to make it easier for you . so that is double the number of part numbers again .
