Interference engines
The subject if which engines are interference and which are not pops up now and then but wanting to get all of the info in one spot I'd like to ask which is which and whether the same engines in different markets are different. I have the 2l engine in my '92 SE and I believe that is interference but what about the various models of the 2.1l and 2.3l. Lists on line do contradict each other even those of timing belt companies.
Yes I have read of broken belts changed at the side of the road and the trip completed with just an hour lost but you can only do this if it's a non interference engine.
Comprehensive list wanted please.
