I limped along until I could stop and turn the engine off and this then fixed the issue of not revving higher and there is no noticeable drop in power.

However the reduced engine performance message is still there.

Is this likely to be a mixture of a cold start and weather and also no traction pulling off just confusing the system?

Am I right in thinking this message doesn’t necessarily mean the power of the engine and could mean blocked filters or sensors?

It’s a 2012 s60 d3

Thanks

It is quite likely to be the boost pressure sensor, which is located on the intercooler.
