Just because I've gone a bit mad and gone for a bare metal look, it doesn't meant there's no paint.

I can assure you this vehicle is very well covered! The "bare metal look" has seven layers of three different types of clear coat on it - the wheel wells also have seven layers of three different types of paint + rust encapsulator in places - there's also going to be an extra layer of POR15 Urethane applied...

...I'm also considering a matt clear wrap for extra stone chip protection on the front wings, the front and the bonnet.

Despite the amount of paint and protection I've put on the vehicle I don't want water sitting between panel joints.

Along with the Silent Coat stuff that should be turning up tomorrow I've also got some Dinitrol windscreen sealant - I might use this instead of the Permatex black silicone - I'm not sure what it is like yet at the moment though...
