Default Volvo 740 Estate Turbo Intercooler November 1988 Radiator

Hi I would like to thank everyone for reading this post and for help last time with my Brake Calipers which are now sorted thanks to Bigg Red. My other car had been off the road and we have been using this as our daily but now the radiator needs replacing. As far as we can tell the radiator is fine it is the plastic fittings that have perished. We thought we had sourced one through a Classic Volvo specialist (and the one we purchased was the one replacing the serial number on the old radiator). Unfortunately although the radiator was the correct size the fittings were wrong - too small and tapered (I have had a refund). Any ideas. We have a place locally that makes bespoke radiators for sports cars so I was thinking of contacting them. Have not found a Breaker who has one and don't want to keep paying postage for the wrong item. Could the serial number be wrong? Any ideas I would be most grateful. We have owned the car 20 plus years and I love driving it (apart from the fuel cost (: . The only thing that has needed replacing in the last 20 years has been a water pump (bought it with a dodgy one) and the calipers aside from tyres, exhaust etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
