I presume that you are talking about The Melamine Wardrobe. Yes it is possible to fit normal shocks to your car. But if you want to go down that road you will need to change the springs to standard as well. They should cost about the same as the shocks, perhaps a little more. The reason is that the springs used with self-levelling systems are softer than the standard springs.
