Hi All,
I have a question about the Stromberg Carb. The front Stromberg has an orifice on the lower face of the outlet flange; see the pic below, I have circled it in red. I was examining the carbs over the weekend and this particular orifice was blocked with a self tapping screw and glue!?
Can anyone shed some light on what this orifice is there for? One thing to note is that the orifice does not go through to the carb throat and it ejects fuel when not blocked. For obvious reasons, this is a concern as I don't want fuel randomly spurting onto the exhaust manifold...
Thanks for your time.
Dylan
