Wow, that's a very high oil consumption. Do you get any sign of smoke when starting, booting it or at hot idle and have you checked for signs of a HG failure, like Mayo or coffee cream streaks in the engine oil, oil in the header tank, an overflowing header tank when hot or a high coolant loss rate ??

If the HG and crank case vent (CCV) system are OK, about all you can do is try a major brand engine oil stop leak additive and a thicker oil, preferably a high mileage one, if sorting it would be too expensive.
Alas stop leak additives or the seal swellers in a high mileage oil like Castrol GTX 15w40 or Valvoline 10w40 will not help if the rings are bad. They can work wonders with bad valve guide oil seals, although replacing those seals is less expensive than a new HG.
