I presume your black caravan is now white at the front, have you done the balloon test on the CCV, moved up an oil grade and tried a can of major brand stop leak ??
If it's venting OK, then the stop leak will take a few hundred miles and if that fails to stop it dripping or burning, think about a good used engine or a set of valve guide oil seals (Might as well fit a new HG at the same time).
Some Indy garages do not replace alternator pulleys, they just fit new Recon alternators. The reason is that the rectifier pack or alternator bearings have a habit of failing just after the pulley bearing, so they can't offer a warranty on the job.
