I'm not sure about damage done.
I think my engine has suffered accelerated wear due to the constant regens it was doing over the 8K while I worked out the problem, with the poor bores and rings now like what they would be on a much higher mileage engine.
The turbo seals might have taken a hammering too with the excess back pressure they were dealing with
