There was the possibility of just using the caliper carrier from the larger V70 setup but the caliper part number is different and I cant get clarification if the carrier alone would work.
The best bet would be caliper and carrier from a V70 with the larger setup but this is proving hard to find and I cant justify the cost of all new parts.

That's where I got to.
XC90 discs are 336x30mm, but the 336 discs for the V70 are 28mm wide which is the same as the 316, so maybe that explains the different caliper part numbers?
Discs and pads are about the same price for either size, so if it's just a case of 2 caplier carriers and 4 x 14mm bolts, then I'll do it.
