So, this is the current state of the hose to the intake manifold on my XC90 D5 163 (183,000 miles).

  1. I presume this is not normal?
  2. What part needs to be replaced, if any?
  3. Is that an abnormal amount of wetness within the intake plumbing? I've had a quick look at the hoses to and from the intercooler and everything appears dry, including just upstream of the wetted hose.

Any advice is much appreciated.
Considering the mileage and the number of years it has never been washed that looks quite acceptable , why not clean it all off with brake cleaner and see where it is all coming from , It is only a very minor leak which has been neglected
